바람 머문 시간 - 한지 조각에 깃든 꿈
작업 ’바람 머문 시간‘은 한지 조각을 이용한 바람 품 안기다. 바람은 생명이며 간절함으로 다가와 체온에 순화되어가는 만큼의 그리움이 되었다. 그 바람이 내 안에 머문 시간들은 사색할 수 있는 시간이며, 삶의 희망과 꿈을 수놓을 수 있는 시간이다. 나는 가장 순수한 가슴으로 바람을 맞이하며 사색의 정원에 꿈을 빚는다. 작업은 한지 양면에 수묵과 담채를 드리우고 조각내어 다시 조합하는 과정을 거치면서 진행되었다. 그 안에 글씨 부호를 곁들여 최소한의 인기척으로 삼고자 했다. 인간의 체취가 깃든 문자의 자연을 본뜬 상형과 표음문자를 빌려온 인기척이다. 작업은 이들이 한데 어우러진 세계의 티끌에 다름 아닌 무수한 한지 조각들이 겹치고 쌓이면서 생명력이 깃들어 간다. 함께 숨 쉬며 함께 성장해가는 사회의 화합과 희망에 대한 숨결이고자 한 것이다.

The time of the wind stay – A dream in a piece of Hanji The work “Time to Stay in the Wind” is to embrace the wind using a piece of Hanji(Korean paper). The wind is life, and it came to me with eagernes and became a longing as it was aclimatized to body temperature. The times when that wind stays in me are times to reflect on, and to embelish your hopes and dreams in life. I gret the wind with my purest heart and dream in a garden of reflection. The work proceded through the proces of puting ink and tint on both sides of Hanji and puting them into pieces and puting them together again. I tried to make it the least popular by adding a leter code in it. It is a popular chuck that borows hieroglyphs and phonetic scripts that mimic the nature of characters with human body odor. As for the work, innumerable pieces of Hanji overlap and pile up in the dust of the world where they are harmonized together, giving life to them. It is intended to be the vital force that acumulates hope and harmony in a growing society by breathing together.
