인생, 사랑 그리고 죽음.
이번 작품의 의미는 조형미술의 개념에 대한 제 깊은 개인적 감성의 조화와 지속성을 보여주고 있습니다.
이번 작품의 감성적 취지는, 드러나는 감정만이 아닌 우리 모두가 맞닥 들이는 상황에서 겪을 수 있는 깊은 감정에 대해 표현하려는 시도입니다.
그림은 말과 글로 할 수 있는 표현 사이에 존재하고 있습니다.
정확히 표현될 수 없는 공간에 대해 그림은 그 자체를 그대로 보여줄 수 있는 힘을 가지고 있습니다.
보는 이로 하여금 시각적인 즐거움을 느끼고 지각적, 심미적인 인식을 깨우쳐줄 수 있는 저만의 캐릭터와 이미지를 창조하고 싶습니다.
화폭에 담기는 공간을 창조하고 색으로 표현하는 것.
상상과 공간은 색상과는 가장 먼 곳에 위치한 반대되는 개념으로서 그림의 평면에 함께 마주하고 있습니다.
공간은 색이 드러남과 동시에 색상의 뒤편으로 사라집니다.
저는 공간에 대한 기존의 개념과 입체파의 개념 사이의 관계와 주제에 대해 더 깊은 이해를 위한 노력을 하고 있습니다.
색의 하모니로 노래를 만들어 부르는 것, 이것이 제 작품이 말하고자 하는 것입니다.
