작가노트

There are things which are inter-related and impossible to separate. In this series of my paintings, I have attempted to create a world where two different spaces come together. I have portrayed water in a symbolic way. The continuous work on water, leads me to find lines in it. Now, I see water as line that connects two different spaces - land and sky.

The Rain series deals with nature and human emotions. Rain is the connection of land and sky. The clouds represent the sky and the rain falling down from the sky is connecting to the land. In between these two different spaces exists human. They have different emotions when it rains. The emotion of happiness, sadness, hope, depression, sick, compassion, illusion etc. different colors of rain deals with different emotions.
